(New) Golden Ovoid 2
10"H x 10 1/2"W
This colorful globe was thrown on the potter’s wheel and altered when wet. After it was dry, it was bisque fired in the electric kiln. Then it was glazed with new proprietary glazes and raku fired to 1880 degrees F. After reaching that temperature, it was removed from the kiln and placed in a metal can with white newsprint and brown paper and allowed to cool.
As with all of my raku pottery,, each new piece is different from another and no two pieces are alike. I am continually adding new colorful pottery pieces to my online store so please check back here periodically for more of my raku work.
